  • Where can you find two medical professionals in one office? I found them! Clifton Spine & Physical Therapy is the clinic of Dr's Michael T. Pogorelec, D.C. and Camryn Alkes, PT, DPT. I'm tired of driving miles for treatment by a Chiropractor, and then more miles to a physical therapist. Scheduling appointments was a disaster. Traffic nowadays is horrendous, and the crazies on the road made my drives a nightmare. And, with the skyrocketing price of gas, committed me to search out for a better solution to my sanity, my wallet, but mostly my health issues. I am fortunate to have a nephew, an Acupuncturist, who has been treating me at his clinic, the Accu Wellness Center, Vincent Drive, Clifton, and suggested that I make an appointment with the Clifton Spine & Physical Therapy clinic, to combine all three fields of healing: Acupuncture, Chiropractic using the DRX 9000 machine, and Physical Therapy. I made an appointment and met both Dr Pogorelec's and Dr Camryn Alkes'. I found their professionalism, experience, and knowledge in their medical field to be exceptional. My health condition is improving! An old Chinese philosophy says: if it took you awhile to become ill, it may take you just as long to feel improvement. I'm in no hurry. Both doctors treat me as though I were related to them. I now arrive in the clinic as though I'm walking into my home, greeted with big smiles!

  • The Clifton Spine & Physical Therapy practice welcomes Camryn Alkes, Dr. of Physical Therapy. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, personable, has a great sense of humor. Dr. Cam listens to her patients issues so she can gain an understanding of their differentiated physical abilities. Dr. Alkes is a very hands-on physical therapist. For me, she is a muscle whisperer whom pinpoints where you’re feeling your pain and gets to work to start the healing process! Before she starts her treatment she gives you a warning about what and where it will hurt. Dr. Cam is not one size fits all physical therapist. She is also an Athletic Trainer. Being an athlete all my life, as I’m getting older there are a lot of things I can no longer do, but Dr. Alkes has encouraged me in four areas of healing over time which has improved my physical, mental, emotional, and psychological well being. ENDURANCE (stamina and tolerance) STRENGTH (courage and toughness) FLEXIBILITY (plasticity and resilience) MOBILITY (maneuverability) I have shown more progress in the short time I have been working with Dr. Camryn Alkes than with any other PT I have worked with in the past. Allow Dr. Cam to assist you with any physical or athletic injuries according to your needs.   • "I have been going here for a few years now. This place treats my back like gold. I have three herniated discs and every now and then they act up. Dr. Pogorelec and his staff are able to treat me on a machine called a DRX9000 which significantly helps my back pain. I usually go once every 2 or 3 weeks on this machine for about 20 minutes. After that I am treated with electro stim and heat pads for 15 minutes. I could not live without this place! "
